How to increase the maximum sql file size for phpMyAdmin database import?
As you must know allready, the phpMyAdmin script uses php to upload files like .sql files.
To increase this limit you must change a setting from php.ini.
Usually it is located to this path: /etc/php.ini or /etc/php/php.ini or /etc/php5/php.ini
What you will need to change is the value of this variable: post_max_size.
The value is in MB.
After that you need to restart apache on your server.
If you don't have access to this file you must call your hosting team.
Have a nice day.
